I grew up in the mountainous parts of Czechoslovakia (later Slovakia), where I often wandered in nature, met my first love, studied linguistics and literature at university and later moved to London where I spent 10 years busy with life, work and university studies.

It was in London where I began to strongly experience what a deep sense of wanting to belong means (being an outlander in a new country). This experience has become a determining factor for my future life and personal development. Not only spacial or geographical boundaries, but also my personal boundaries, dreams and visions, and a deep need to feel loved and included. After some time and deeper work I have become to understand that self-acceptance and self-love are the key for the loving, accepting, belonging and connecting relationships. That is when I have started to feel a need of sensing the Self.

My need to know more and go deeper has led me to sociology studies, psychotherapy, migration studies, internal  family system therapy, somatics, literature studies, visual imagery across places and time, and to developing a strong sense for space in which I exist. After my return, a deep connection with nature has helped  me to overcome 'cultural shock' and to get rooted in the Czech Republic and Slovakia again. I have set up the Trek de Czech hiking platform with a prime intention to spend time in nature, experience beauty of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and touch the depths of the human soul and mind. In this context I would like to share a thought by Giselle Genillard: "Healthy, sensible and regulated people do not do what we do to the Planet."

In my personal life, I regularly do hiking, running, dancing, do integrative breathwork, gong sound baths, meditation and therapy. I like to read, learn and study. All these activities help me to connect with my higher Self. In my therapy work I work with the system of parts and the system of internal family. I focus on healing the soul injuries, traumas, hereditary and ancestral burdens and on reclaiming energy of the higher Self. I pay attention to the body and body sensations.

I do believe that when dealing with emotional and sensitive issues, it is important to feel that someone listens and cares.
